Level 1 Desktop Engineer

LincolnIT has an immediate need for an individual with 3-5 years of IT related experience. Candidate must also have a strong desire to learn networking. Experience in some networking is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities, Skills and Experience:

  • Image and configure laptops and Desktop
  • Proficient in Windows and MAC devices
  • Configure and deploy Apple IPADS and IPhones through Mass360 console
  • Setup Video Conferencing and Whiteboard meetings
  • Troubleshoot Outlook, active directory, create new hires, terminations
  • Install applications as requested by the business
  • Installed and Configured VPN for home users’ laptops
  • Network Printer administrator e.g. Printer Server administration and Ricoh Printers
  • Application support troubleshooting to assure root cause prior to escalating to the Application team e.g. 6N, Sigmacare
  • Proficient in using ITSM tool and understanding SLA’s depending on Critical-Low driven by the business
  • Collaborate with team to effectively coordinate project efforts, incorporating new ideas and identifying areas of weakness and improvements
  • Outstanding analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills; interact with staff, management, and clients at all levels
  • Proactive, organized, and well-trained professional and multi-tasked with solid work ethic and willingness to learn
